My husband and I visited your book store this past September. What a beautiful, smart and creative space you have created. We bought several books/soap and loved looking through all the pictures and timelines. I took a couple of pictures of your sign outside your store with a huge spider spinning down right in front of the sign. I would love to send it to you but can’t get it to attach here. It is not a professional picture but it was thrilling for me to see that spider in front of the sign. Thanks for providing such a great educational and warm store.

Thank you very much, Lynn, for visiting the Notebook and for those kind words. We would love to see that spider photo if you are ever able to attach it!
I am trying to ask Bernd Heinrich a question about Winslow Homer’s “Fox Hunt” which I just saw at the Portland Museum of Art last week. I would like to know what he thinks is really happening in the painting.

Hi Craig and Pamela,
I met Craig last summer when I wandered into your shop and was amazed by what I saw.
We discussed my blog on Penn State football and of course Joe Paterno.
Thanks for letting me know about your blog.
I love the photos and your quirky posts especially the quizzes.
Have a great winter and spring and we’ll see you next summer.

Craig (and Pamelia) – What an AWEsome tribute to your dad’s – and all dad’s! Just checking out your site again and (shamelessly) daydreaming about what looks like willbe a “fall” trip up your way with our kids. Your Reunion in New Milford was a blast and you were definitely missed; e-pics (and a hard copy of your class) will be to you shortly. Just wanted to let you know that everyone I’m speaking with heading up to Maine this summer is getting an earful @ your place – having a big mouth in Alumni Relations is indeed helpful!
“Cheers” and much success to you on your opening day for the season. Will be in touch for some (planning) pointers for a novice camping family for the fall up your way.

Wonderful news about Bernd Heinrich’s upcoming visit! I am sure you will keep us all posted on dates he will be there.
Yes, we’ll announce the date as soon as it’s set. We do know that it will be in the second half of August, after I return from the Olympics.
LOVE YOUR BLOG…IF THAT IS THE CORRECT WORD. I WILL FILL IN THE FIELDS BELOW AND HOPE THAT PUTS ME ON YOUR E-MAIL LIST. REALLY WONDERFUL.
Wanted to let you know that we profiled the extraordinary work of Luke Sietz at artformhq.com. Luke is an inspiration to young artists everywhere.
Craig and Pammie,
I hope you know that I think of you often and am glad you continue to touch my life with your website.
Love,
Geno

You’ve created a world where one can learn about science through the eyes of an artist and a writer. I’ve never had so much fun in a store.
Remind me to chat with you guys about Bill Nye.
